Me Too Dave. Nice To See One With Such Detail. Like The Grab It License Plate Too. Just Noticed The "Maverick" logo on the trunk lid is a little off the mark.

Just when I thought I was getting caught up ... sigh ...

Very nice car. I will have to spring for one of these.

You know what will happen next? .... They will change the casting that little bit and actually start releasing Comets ... on the hook for life .... sigh ....

Nope, online only....for now, but it's hard to really say...You would think they wouldn't invest the money to make a mold, and only sell 4000....
    I like the license plate...

It's same mold and casting as the mainline '71 Grabber but is hand polished and/or chromed before painting for a much better finish. The RLC and HWC cars get much more personal attention than the ones hanging in the stores.

It will only be for sale on the http://www.hotwheelscollectors.com site starting on Sep 4th, but will show up on auction sites soon after. This release is one of the only reasons I signed up for the RLC, this car is absolutely fantastic! I've got an alarm set on my phone for 9am on the 4th.

So to join the RLC you have to spend $35 to get a crack at the Maverick? Thats going to be one expensive hot wheels.

You're right Dave, I got a little hasty there. It must be a new mold, then. They'll probably put it away for a few years then release another edition and we'll all pull our wallets out again, I know I will! :)

I also had no problem ordering mine. I have the free Hot Wheels Club membership but not the preminum Red Line Club membership :)
