Has anyone took the time to build a inline six. Talking 200, 260, or 300 ford for your mav or comet? Any tips as I got a six in my 83 futura sport coupe or two door. Thanks

Just put a header on my 250 if you want to consider that a "build"

This is not mine, but will give you some idea of what you can do! To build a 6 is going to be more expensive than a V8, but IMHO, you end up with something more unusual and Cool! :thumbs2:[IMG]

I think built sixes are cool but it'll cost a lot to build and still be slow unless your going forced induction.

Thanks for the input. I think sixes have a cool factory regardless.

The Bronco guys prefer the big straight 6 300 over the 302 bent 8... more torque at low rpms... 240 ft lbs at 1600 rpms..(250 stock)
    6's are cool

    IMO

First car in my life 69.5 maverick built 250 inline swap. 73 maverick RIP
i have been weighing the options of 6 build or v8.... the six has a ton of room and its easyer to fit in...(dont have to find the swap parts) wish i still had 2 cars... id do one of each.

AI think it has a cool factor. What problems would you have with a 300 six swap?
