    I have a buddy who needs a replacement LS engine in his truck, a while ago I found a link to a website that had these engines used pretty cheap, unfortunately I can't recall the name of it. Any ideas on a good site for used engines/auto parts?

    I've not used them, but LKQ sells tons of engines through E-Bay.

    i've heard of LKQ but their on the pricey side of things, the site that I found you could get them for less then 500 bucks

    If I blow this 5.0 up, that is my next option, or swapping out the 5.7 hemi from my truck with oversized rings and a hone job. This "split block at 500 hp" thing is kinda irritating.

    My error - I missed the "used" engine as I was focused on "LS."
