    Real Fun!

And if you drive it often, particularly in the elements, or wash it often, you will have to maintain them or go through that 7 hr ritual often.

I parked mine back in the 80's in favor of Chrome. Windex and wax-2 minutes per wheel!

I like mine, but I don't drive it often.

Good job and good score! :thumbs2:

WOW! those look great. You will all probably hate me, but I have the same factory Ford slotted mags on my 69 Dodge. I bought them from a buddy whose dad bought them back in the 70s. He had the machined to fit Dodge hubs. I guess I have more polishing to do! haha. Does anyone know if the emblems come out of the inside of the center caps? I don't want the Mercury ones in there, and I need to replace the cracked plastic. Any ideas? :thumbs2:

Anything will come out with a hammer!!

They really are not made to come out. You can buy repops of the complete cap from several Mustang places. Of course, they will have Mustang emblems on them. You can also just cover up the center with a wheel center decal.

That's kind of depressing to hear. I was going to start looking to replace my center cap emblems on my factory slot mags. I even have the machine for making new caps in crystal instead of plastic. But if they don't come out that's gonna make it tough.
