    I don't know if this another re-count or an initial counting of NEW members but, YES, I own and am restoring/modifying a 1971 Mercury Comet 2dr, originally was a 130hp 250cid I6 & a C4 auto. When completed it will be a 350hp 302cid V8 & a modified C4 auto.

    My son was given a 73 Comet (girlfriends dad) project car: 4 dr sedan with a straight 6 -3.3L / C4 so with kafrompa the total is 1934.

    just got a sweet 72 maverick lady bought it new in oct 71 2 door with a i6 drove it till 78 an i guy bought it to build a hotrod,put a 65 balanced an blueprinted 289 with trw pistons crane 527 lift cam ported heads with stainless chevy valves in it and hired the kid next door to help him work on the mav did a bunch of other stuff to it then got cancer and pass away and left the car to the kid witch traded me my kawasaki atv for the mav plus a truck load of extra parts and i have every piece of paperwork all the way back to the sales guy that sold it to the lady and to top it off it only has 34,378 orig miles on the body and the motor has never even been started!!.....1944!!!
