    Hey, Just bought the rear wheels and tires for my maverick. 255/60R15 Cooper Cobras on Cragar G/T 8 inch rims 4.5 Back Space. The Poll Question is: Black Side Wall OR white Letters Out? I had Them Mounted Black Sidewall Out.....But Now I'm Not Sure :16suspect

    I personally like raised white letter tires, but not everybody likes them.

    I'm a big fan of raised white letters as well, but I think it really depends on the cars look and color of it.

    sorry All I have For Pics at This Moment...The Car Is 1974 Color 3M Silver Blue Poly. I Purchased 5 Yrs. Ago Off Ebay From Kansas. The Man I Purchased The Car From Drove It To Me! At The Time It Only Had 78K Miles.

    raised white letter tires look OK sitting still. when they are moving they look like they have mud on the tires...:yup:

    I installed one side black and one side white letter on my car. Decided on black. White letters just didnt suit my car.

    I like white letters only on cars that have some existing white(top, interior, stripes, etc) to tie it all together.

    So, in your case.. I like the black better.

    lol.. the same could be said about whitewalls too.

    I myself think raised white letters give more of a "sporty" look.

    I remodel homes for a living.. and too many colors just take away from the overall effect of coordination in the end. I think that rule applies here as well.

    Whitewalls are great too for the correct era which the 70's are not.

    I've never been a fan of white letter tires, so all my cars are always black wall.
    Just imagine if this car had white letter tires...
