I started mine today, first time since October..man Optima Batteries are awesome, no boost or nothing, hooked up the negative, a couple of pumps, and it fired right up. The belts are squeaky...time for an upgrade.

Primed the underside of the hood and trunk, primed the doors after I wire wheeled the textured area(soft wheel on a drill), also sprayed a few chevelle parts while I was at it... Other than that I really didn't do much to it..stared at it for a while, just thinking what to do...& how to do it.

I took all to the house paint, bug spray and misc tools off of the Maverick since my house work is nearing completion. Soon I'll be back to working on my cars.:thumbs2:

Drove it down to Hawkco's house near Stockbridge, GA and delivered/helped install a new/used motor on his lawn mower. Saw this cool '62 Impala getting on hwy. 316 near Duluth, GA on the way back...

Had a nice phone conversation with my painter Dale Doll today. I am not a body/paint man so Dale's advice has been invaluable to me. I now know better where to cut my quarters off and replace them with pieces from my good cut offs I bought from a guy in New York. I would have cut too much off my original quarters before I talked with Dale :yahoo:
