Was driving through Carlisle show field on Sunday and Lonny from Gateway Performance Suspensions flagged me down and wants a Grabber hood that has not been repaired or damaged. He is trying to get Dynacorn to reproduce them.
If any one is interested, his email is lonny@gatewayperformancesuspension.com

One of my friends is good friends with him, I'll have to get him to ask him about it.

If done by Dynacorn, I'd say it would be a good quality reproduction and possibly a good sell item depending on price. Always great to see companies take an interest in our vehicles and its always great to see a new, quality reproduction made available. :thumbs2:

Seems like a tall order, a perfect, unmolested grabber hood would be scarce and if I had one I sure wouldn't want to turn loose of it! Hope they can pull it off, it would be cool!

My company works with Dynacorn for both product development and as a distributor.
Larry Brogdin is the main guy at Dynacorn Industries in Oxnard, Ca.
Please bear in mind that it can take several years or more, before a product can become available for sale. They have lots of projects in the pipeline and they have to pick and choose items based on projected sales volume.

How long and what exactly would they be doing with/to it? Mine is 100% original and untouched...

Is this a loan or do they keep it?

These guys would have the ability to manufacture a Grabber Hood that would
" FIT " like it should and align with the adjacent fenders on both sides.
I'd buy one from them !!

    Grabber Hoods

I ordered the Carbon Fibre rear spoiler and the ends when he first started making them years ago and the spoiler warped because if was too thin..and the Ends didn't line up with their supplied bolts .. I removed them and tried "studs" to make them align with the holes in the fenders which allowed them to fit but they never did alilgn properly. I had a body man paint them and after sitting in sun for a few hours the spoiler looked like a
washboard. I found a "real" spoiler kit later and I have the "carbon fibre" units hanging on my garage wall as a reminder. So a HOOD is out of the question.
