My sons car will be running by next weekend but it's a far cry from a show car.

Well Bob, at least your son's Maverick is almost running. I've got to get an exhaust system and hook up the ignition system. Paint, interior, and glass. I'm getting close.

I did run it up to the one at the eagles on labor day but got there to late and the volt meter was acting up so i turned tail and ran for the house and parked it besides as close as i could get to a show would be in the spectators lot. this is for retirement inless my wife lives that long then i am sure she can keep me busy

yea sort of like i said the volt gauge was acting up and she pulled hard to the right. i was a bad boy and didn't check her for road worthy before i ran it up there so may have been as easy as a low tire i hope, but haven't had time or energy to look. start vacation today but wife starts it with a dead dryer, bad strut on her car, then mom needs help, ect. ect. ahhhhhh.
