Went to a local upholstery shop here. They told me I should be able to buy skins online and then just pay them to take off the old an put on new. This does not sound right to me. Are they really available? If so anyone know where?

Nobody makes them for a Maverick as far as I know. Maybe Fred can make you a set.

Roger I might be able to help you with some bench seats. I have a set from my 71 with 40,000 on em. Front is complete and the rear is just the covers. They are black check. There was nothing wrong with them but I switched to buckets with comfort weave and had a rear cover set made to match by Fred.
LMK if interested looks like your about six hours away.

Have you tried RockAuto? Last time I looked they had seat covers. Never tried theM though.

Local upholstery guy near me wanted $1200 to reupholster my two bench seats. Way too much for me to spend.
