Finished my final rear end housing installation. Installed new Caltrac adjustable shocks, and installed my 4.11 differential and spool with new Moser axles. Filled differential with oil, and test fit tires and rims to check for proper clearances. Performed a rough adjustment of my rear brakes and started plumbing rear brake lines...................... 20150122_204832.jpg 20150122_204742.jpg 20150122_204653.jpg 20150122_204631.jpg
Started plumbing rear brake lines, and test fitted rear tires. Car starting to come together now.

Well after replacing the heater core and getting it all tied back up.....The blower motor decided to take a dump. Pulled it out last weekend and ordered a new one....It should be here on Friday. Lets hope it fits right.

Here are some pics of the hood I am using for my 71. I bought this out of a wrecking yard a couple months ago or so. Twenty five years ago we threw a hood away like this and now we use them at almost any cost. At least it is not rusty on the lip like most.

I will post pics later after we get the porta power mounted to stretch it back into form.

Just went out in the cold garage and had a talk with Hotrock. Thompson Dragway's website has been down for several days, I don't know what that means. I hope they are just updating their web. Dragway 42 says they will have a soft opening June 1st!!! Ya baby!!!!

Stopped by Eddie's Body shop to see the Maverick. First time I have seen it with all of the body panels hung for about 8 mos. Beginning to look like a car again. I'm eagerly anticipating paint. The tech working on it is a Mustang freak and enjoys working on the car.

Someone threw a Mustang Monte Carlo bar in the trunk thinking it was mine. If no none claims it, it will be narrowed and modified for my car.

Got my Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval Indy 500 245/45R17 tires. They will look great on my AR Maverick wheels.

Stopped by Summit on the way home and bought a die cast Mustang II for my buddy's birthday.

Pulled the gauge cluster and got the idiot light problem solved, and got the speedometer connected (finally). Took it for test drive and it was nice to know how fast I was going!

I went and picked up a parts car , Its a 4 door , but I need a lot of dash parts as mine had a fire in the duct work . So anything that I can't use on my 2 door is up for grabs . As I only paid $200 for the parts car anything I sell from it will be cheap .

Where are you located? What year is the parts car?

Wow, see that you were born the very same day I was.
