    My uncle and I live in Lynchburg, VA which is about 2 1/2 hours away. We go to plenty of cruise-ins in the warmer months. I host an MCCI Maverick and Comet Mini Meet in the fall in Chatham, VA (just a little north of Danville, VA).

    There is a fellow in Candor, NC that has a '72 blue Comet GT that he bought new. He goes to quite a few shows and cruise-ins.

    I am from Bailey/Wilson NC originally and come down a couple times a year to see family. I have been known to make special trips down to swap parts and meet other Maverick owners. Maybe my next trip down I can arrange to stop and meet a few of you who are from that area around Raleigh.

    I live on the east side of Charlotte,about 5 miles from the Charlotte Motor Speedway. I have a '72 Comet GT project I brought up with me from Florida, along with 3 other classic Ford products. I belong to a very active Mustang club here.I was parked next to the blue Comet at our show in September. Nice unrestored car.
