I agree completely. My car will eventually be close to show car quality.. but I'll probably never have much chance at winning best paint simply because I refuse to quit driving it as often. That's what touch up paints are for anyways.

if all they are going to do is show people pics. of their car...have a poster made, hang it on the wall, sell the car and let some one show it to the people...:drive: :chirp:

I drove mine daily from 2005-2015. Went to Florida several times, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, etc. Put 243,000 miles on it. No heat for 7 of those 10 years and of course no A/C finally got to me. Car is also having metal fatigue problems in the shock towers (body has almost 500k) which was causing it to get dangerous and unpredictable at highway speeds. Car now sits nice and dry in my shop out back behind my house waiting it's turn after a couple of other projects. I drive it up and down the road about once a month to keep it running. Last year I got a 95 Mustang GT that my dad wrecked several years ago, fixed it and have been driving it since. Have already put 20k on the Mustang in 8 months, enjoying having heat and A/C.. lol
