No he can just type fast. LOL. I could get very involved and lengthy as well as many others on here. I simply dont have the time to two finger type that much.
one said he was "done", now if the other one is "done" then maybe we can find a way to get this tacky set of tips on Scoopers car... ...:...
Groberts, once again, you've made an assumption that's eroneous. My ego had nothing to do with what I posted. I can take a good ribbin with the rest, but your continued BS'ing about those tips was not what you made it out to be. I several times stated that I had no idea how well those tips worked and made no assumptions that they did, only that they were out there and from the looks of them, that's where I got the ideas about their intended use. You on the other hand continued to make the assumption that they were something special in my mind, which they obviously weren't, and which you would have known, had you taken as long to read(and comprehend) my posts as you take to type yours. As for the "personal attack" ? You did a pretty good job of that as well. If you're going to dish it out, then you need to learn to expect the same in return.
okie dokie then. A short recap of highlights(which actually made me read them for the 4th time) around. You're right.. I must have serious reading comprehension issue. Because there was nothing more than a bunch of "maybe's, might's, could's, possibly's, I think's, and sorta's" mixed in between all the above which should have kept me from assuming that you thought they actually worked as venturi's for increased scavenging. My bad.. sorry bout that.. and I won't let it happen again.
I know this is tedious stuff, but I am sure racers contemplate this sort of thing constantly. Ten things that remove 1/100 of a second from a lap time make you 1/10 faster.
To the original posters car. RIP. It was cut and hacked apart and the parts sold for profit. What a waste of a good car. Beware of who you sell your car too and what their intentions are.
Seriously? That's a pretty crappy thing to do and sure doesn't show much respect for these particular cars at all in favor of pure capitalism. Not that he ever thought he'd get it all back or anything, but I'd be willing to bet Scott's not happy at all to hear this since he put much time into building that car. Not to mention that his wife had family history in the car as well. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't even tell my wife what happened to it since there is nothing to gain but sadness and hard feelings from doing so.
If you look at a Nascar race car, they use 4 pipes about the same size, yours will not hurt your performance.
That is very sad, sorry I didn`t notice,I like to see more of these cars restored as they are so neat.
