69 1/2 key in dash

    The electrical connector is different. You can make an adapter if you have the connector for the 69.5 switch and the lead coming off of the column start switch.

    Hmm...good information. I might just take one of my spare columns and shave the the key off then. As for the connectors, does any one having a wiring diagram for it? I can make an adaptor no problem just need to know the wires.

    When I put the 72 A/C harness in mine I just spliced the wires and made an adapter with an old ignition switch. The wires are the same color just different plug. If I am not mistaken you can get the pigtail for the 69.5 switch from a parts store. Here is the one from AutoKrafters http://www.autokrafters.com/p-12587-ignition-switch-wiring-harness.aspx

    Do you have the switch mount?
