anybody ever modified motor mounts?

    A while back there was some one who had a friend start his ricer and keep it running while he dumped a bag of sand down the intake. They were doing this to port the intake and exhaust without taking the head off. The car never did run again.

    Hmmm...a makeshift process of Extrude Honing??? Ouch....bet the sand opened the spec tolerances up on it....cylinder bore, bearing journals (once the cylinders opened up).... Just a few turns will do ya...yup. ::::staring off in distance:::: :huh: :coco: :banghead: :slap:

    But, I digress... Neat story though, ....i think :16suspect

    Be glad we all aren't ones whom are breaking ground on such new "machining technologies" ;)

    That's the way my dad's always was, loved every minute of it. Was best pullin up to redlights or rollin into car shows in line with all the other hotrods bouncin up and down. :bouncy:

    I would have loved to hear the sound that ricer made as it died a painful death! :D
