You basically made same shroud and setup as me.

Well now other people can see it and hopefully use it as an cheap option. I'm going to eventually make a nicer shroud using my finger brake and do a better write up.

I used steel to make the shroud for my setup. I had some sheet laying around and used it; I think the most E-fan setups have to be offset to pass side to clear the wp. For those who don't have alum. welding capabilites, steel nx best option.

I am putting in a Edelbrock Water pump and 16" Spal...now I am wondering if it's going to fit. I have the Champion shroud. Ugh.

this is the fan I now have on my car...a friend made the shroud at a sheet metal shop where he works.
I had it mounted on a Champion shroud. I had the room so I made it deeper.

Looks like the 16" spal fan with Champion shroud does not fit.... without some modifications.

Water pump is off...now debating if I should just pull out the engine and go through the heads and bottom end. It's never been removed, rear main seal was leaking and then stopped? No idea, maybe too much oil could have caused it? Learning as I go.

Ended up where I am trying to get the new Steering Pump in... dummy me put a ratcheting box end wrench on the bolt to remove the old bracket and it got stuck behind the water pump pulley...bolt was too long and you can't reverse the ratchet.
