Yeah it is a Ford sport steering wheel, too bad the contact rings are missing. But still usable and hard to find with finger grips. Nice candidate for a putting a new cover on

I wasn't 100% sure, but I thought it looks like the Ford part.
I like that design. All 3 spokes below the center would give an unobstructed view of the dash.
If it was A little closer I would make an offer on it.
I Hope someone from the forum here gets it.

that might be from a mustang II, think they had the horn on the turn signal stalk.

I don't think the horn on stalk started till the '79 Fox body Stangs...

Didn't the late Mustang II have black spokes?

No, Mustang II had the silver spokes and only the Stallion logo horn button. 79 Mustang until 83 the horn was on the turn signal lever.

You could get them from trucks, Broncos, Pintos, Granada, Monarch, Fairmont, Mustangs II, and the King Cobra Mustang II . As far as the ones without the horn contacts in the wheel ?

'79 was when the horn was relocated to the lever on the column. Also utilized a different locking mechanism.

I've got one that I've been working on. Going to take the index ring and horn contacts from a stock wheel and mount them on the non horn sport steering wheel. If it works great, if it doesn't, nothing lost. The contact ring comes out pretty easy. Been working with a Dremel to get the metal indexing plate off. Haven't got it done yet though. - Matt
