    I have an original replacement voltage regulator in my Maverick. What's a better replacement?

    A one wire alternator then you can do away with the voltage regulator and have a better electrical system and clean up that mess of wiring on the fender well and have brighter lights and helps with installation of new electrical items such as stereo
