Although the first Mavericks were considered 69-1/2, can we round that up to 1970 and use this year as the 50th Anniversary? What special things might be worth doing? A 50th Anniversary Hot Wheels collection would be appropriate. Maybe the movers and shakers of the Maverick Comet Group can promote that. What do you think?
The Maverick Comet Club International (MCCI) has been celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Ford Maverick since April, 2019. We had a 50th Birthday party that we celebrated at our Regional Mini-Meet at Ford Carlisle in June, 2019. This July, the 5oth Anniversary will continue at the 27th Annual MCCI Roundup Nationals in Kingsport, Tennessee.
