Can anyone send me a picture of how thier air filter and vacuum assembly is set up. If anyone can share me a couple of pages of chiltons manual for the maverick that would work too. I 250ci six cylinder. The engine is having trouble running properly. Its running rich and burning up all my spark plugs. If I set the carburetor to idle the engine lower is struggles to stay on, so i dont belive its getting too much fuel. I need help fixing the air flow first to see if the mixture of air is just too low. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.

No matter what the cause, overly rich is excess fuel. If condition is same with air cleaner removed, likely a carb or fuel pressure issue.

    BTW welcome
