Anchor Plate to Spindle - Upper 90-120 ft/lbs. this must be tightened first - Lower 55-75 ft/lbs. ... interesting severe torque differences and top to bottom tightening sequence , trying to figger' why? ... . have fun
Top bolt is a larger fastener, uses 3/4" socket and lower uses 5/8" socket.......personally, I would just take torque value in the middle, 105 ft/lbs. for upper and 65 ft/lbs. for the lower, use anti-seize on threads....... David
The way I was taught back in the 70's, was when you see a split torque spec, it refers to wet and dry torque. If the bolt is lubed or "wet" - it reduces the torque needed by 25%.
