Struggling through my Seat Resto for my 72 Grabber and bought the Maverick Seat Skins from Sandy at Mustang Market. Took several months but that's ok if the quality is there. The skins arrived and the quality is there. $599 worth of quality though and that's a bit steep.

    That's the good.

The BAD: his website says the correct seat foams for 70-77 Mavericks are the 69-70 Mustang foams. I do not agree, and the 69-70 foams he indicated are correct do NOT fit my frames nor do they match well with the skins he made. He insists the skins were matched to the foams (he shipped the foams BEFORE the skins were made) and he is not willing to exchange them. This, my friends is $h|ttv service and not what anyone should expect or accept.

See attached pictures. (white foams are the 69-70 I rec'd - yellow are the 72 old foams) I will say the skins are well made, but his service is crap.

from what i remember when i did mine, 71-73 mustang are the correct foams for the high back buckets. 69-70 are sort of similar, but not the same.

I went ahead and ordered some 71-73 TMI foams which are pricey but top quality.

I am eating it on the 69-70 foams that Sandy will not take back so I will be selling those if anyone is interested send a message and we can work something out.

I will be listing them here elsewhere if I don't sell them in a day or two privately.

'71-'72 Maverick bucket seats are the same as '71-'73 Mustang seats.
The '69-'70 Mustang seats are different...
