Hello everyone, so I went with the Granada disc brake conversion, but somehow I ran into a lil problem. I'm having issues with the hydraulic brake hoses. So once I installed them I noticed that when I steer left or right the metal portion of the hoses get on the way between the steering stopper and the lower arm. Therefore the steering is very limited and if I would try to drive those hoses might brake. Did anyone run into the same issue and hopefully have a solution for this. Thanks in advance.
I’m thinking you may have the calipers swapped from right to left. The brake hoses should be coming straight out parallel to the ground from the top half of the caliper pointing towards the front of the car. If it’s angled down and interfering with the steering stop, I bet they are swapped/on the wrong side. Not my picture, but they should look like this:
Wow, I'm going to swap them out. I'm sure you are right about that. I thought to myself that they're shouldn't be any reason why this was happening to me when i know a bunch of people have done the same conversion as i have and i haven't heard any issues from it. Hey thank you so much for your input. I can't wait to get that job done
