Are our cars going up in value in your opinion?

Of course they are. All old cars are going up in value.

They are, just not like people think they do from watching, BJ and Mecum. If it runs good and can be used as a daily driver, Yes. Something that has a blower sticking out the hood and 20" slicks on the back, yes but to about 2 other people that can't afford it.
They were an "A to B" car in the beginning and still a very good one. Especially since 25mpg and they don't kill you at DMV or the insurance office like most vehicles do these days. Besides you can work on them. A clear title is a must, IMO.
A rust bucket that belongs in a crusher? Nope IMO.

my '74 has "Grabber" stripes applied by a former owner or resale dealer. It gets a lot of attention and many think it automatically is full-tilt OEM HI-PO with the Grabber decals. Sometimes I explain it was an 'appearance' package available almost across the Maverick line. ...also got a few "Maverick? , what is that, a Mopar or a Pontiac?"...

while 'old muscle car' prices are soaring, Maverick is one of few remaining platforms reachable/affordable for the ambitious private 'performance' build.

... also as mentioned, not many intact Mav/Com's left in this world. especially here in N.E.., a fairly solid 50 year old car is worth what the buyer dreams...

This is a recent auction here in town, ended 8/9/22. It was for sale not long ago at 21 or 22k, can't remember the number. Went to the autioneer during their classic car auction and sold for 16,750. Pretty nice for the money, couldn't build it for that.
