Hey all! So, after a few attempts to put together something for the front brake hoses on my new-to-me Maverick, I can't find anything that works. I've tried a Willwood braided steel kit for a 71 disc Mustang, and while the length is good, I needed to stack a few adapters to get it to clear the spindle on the factory drums. I've also tried 71 disc Mustang lines on the 70 Maverick, however, they are too short and bind up about halfway through the travel. At this point, I'm done wasting money on the factory drums and just want to go straight to disc. My only dilemma is finding a kit. From what I've read there seems to be a high chance that 67-70 Mustang disc brake kits will work on factory Maverick spindles. Just want to know what some others think before I go ahead and drop nearly $600 on a brake kit. this is the kit I've been looking at and it works especially well since my car is a 4 lug. https://www.ebay.com/itm/2336678937...8RWTBV&hash=item3667b119dc:g:kiEAAOSwwvtfJiNb

ONLY '67 disc brakes will bolt to the later DRUM spindles. The '68-'71 Fairlane/Torino/Mustang discs use a unique spindle. Installed those on my Comet, required swapping spindle. I have the '67 discs on my '69 Fairlane, using it's original drum spindle (same as '67). True '70-up models use a larger spindle than '69½ earlier. With correct bearing, either will work fairlanediscbrrakes 006.JPG
