The first car I can remember rideing in would probably be my dad's old 84' Mustang GT. Theres another car I wish we still had...

I was scared of my dad's Comet when I was little. We were going to a car show when I was 3 or 4 and I was in the back seat(when it still had back seats! :D) . I remember being terrified because of the way that car sounded, I thought it was going to blow up!

I'm in the before Maverick (bm era).To be exact,16 yrs.bm.I can still smell the sweet odor of Sunoco 260.Bought my first tank of gas for I think .25/9.(gas war)thats what they called it then.Went to Frische's Big Boy every friday and saturday night to watch the cars roll thru the drive-in.Gabriel Hi-jackers and Mickey Thompson tires were the set-up to have.Mavericks were to new to modify yet,at least where I was at.Grabber colors were the coolest thing I ever saw.Was working 60 hrs. a week for $1.20 an hour plus going to High School (pumping gas and changing oil at my Uncles gas station)A new Maverick cost $1995.00 which seemed like a fortune.Life was good.

March 11,1964 so I guess I'm one of the old men. lol
I was in the 5th grade when my dad decided to sell the 71 F100 that I have now. I remember coming home from school and seeing it for sale. thinking this is my truck as I pulled off the sale signs. I did this about 3 days in a roll until he took the truck back home. He gave it too me at 15 yrs old and I'm still driving it at 41. lol
My Grandmother had a Gold 4 door Maverick when I was around 13. It was a 302 car and I still remember taking it for a drive around the old dirt roads. What a blast

I remember the TV show Maverick and the other westerns of the time. Heck I even remember watching I love Lucy before they were re-runs. Dang I'm feeling old.

I think I'm 17, but my body keeps telling me otherwise. So do my kids!
