i saw a pretty nice maverick. black with silver stripes on the side of the road on interstate 10, arizona, at milepost 216. i had my trailer behind me and was doing about 75. didn't have time to stop, but it looked like there was fluid on the ground. i got off at the next exit and came back on the frontage road but he passed on the freeway. thought he might need a hose or something. i had my maverick in the trailer and had spare parts. was wondering if it was anyone from on here? had az. historical plates.

I saw a Maverick or Comet Tuesday night about 2 o'clock in the morning heading into Washington D.C. on 270 and 495 loop. It was red with black stripes with Virginia Plates. He jumped on the freeway as I exited onto 270 from 70 in Frederick, MD. I followed him for quite awhile before I passed him and went on. Would have loved to of stopped him but not too many people would enjoy a semi truck flashing his lights at them.....LOL
Seth, I think you would have liked this car. Pretty much identical to yours. It was a '73, red with a black stripe going down the side. Someone had stuck a 71 or 72 bumper on the front and a Grabber spoiler on the rear. Had black interior with bucket seats, 302/C4 floorshift, magnum 500 wheels. I think the guy was asking around 4,000 for it. Car didn't appear to have any rust, but had lots of little dents and dings here and there.

looked like a grabber. couldn't see the interior. did have a small sunroof. hard to get too good a look at 75-80 mph with a 28 ft enclosed trailer behind.
Yup. Aftermarket sun roof. The guy got it out of CO. for $2000 and it's a really sweet body and the interior is like new, maybe redone. Original 302. Maybe I can pick it up cheap, lol, I'll go by his house tomorrow.
