A friend told me of one nearby with lots of Mavericks and Comets. Going Friday afternoon with a camera.
I know, another junkyard thread. But the yards here just don't have Mavs or Comets anymore and they tend to be unorganized fields where cars can sit for decades before they are crushed. Typically sheep roam the rows. I get jealous when I see the yard pictures here with no hip-high grass and the cars are in lines all neat and tidy. I have better luck knocking on doors so this yard is good news for me. I can't wait, but I also can't get my hopes up.
i get jelous when i see pics of yards with cars made before the mid-1990's. i cant even get stuff for my 80's GM cars around here. then again those cars were so heavy and scrap prices they way they are...
You need to come down here! There are a rediculous amount of 70's and 80's Chevy's in yards down here, all the time.
