So now that the heat is starting to break im getting ready to start doing more work. So far ive saved up about $1500 to put towards the engine. Im trying to find a complet forged 347 stroker kit with i beam rods all balanced. Im still trying to hunt down a good 4 speed top loader trany, along with an early mustang 9" so i dont have to get it narowed. But no such luck. Next step to the rebuild is to get my quarter panels off my 3rd parts car. so much work to do before graduation, and yet so little time. Just curious but does anyone know how much it will cost to prep the block for all the work to assemble the 347? Anyone have any good pics of paint jobs? still cant decide. Im trying to find ideals off of other cars and change them up. So many ideals but only one car.

    I don't think $1500 will buy a early Mustang 9" housing...there wasn't that many made.

    ????????????????
    WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You can get a 9" housing built from Currie that has the exact same specs as a Maverick 8" (width, offset and barrings) and you can use your axles for about $350. Then all you need is to find a 3rd member.
