I picked up a nice rust free set of front fender pieces from Texas and yesterday got a chance to strip the paint off of the lower sections

For some "strange" reason, you just don't see sheet metal like this in Pennsylvania

My Mavericks told me Happy Fathers Day and that I could just chill. I don't have to work on any of them today. My boys and my grandson are coming out to visit and we will eat and ride 4wheelers most of the day! :)
    Happy Fathers Day everyone!!!

After all the electical work I did...I pushed it out of the garage and hooked up the battery to fire it up...incase it really did FIRE up. I need to replace the wiper delay box and/or switch to see if I can get the intermittent wipers working (only have high speed)...also I forgot to hook up the ground to the heater fan motor.

Now i'm home, Sitting in the house, My car still down in Mcminville and my keys locked in the house down there. Not sure how i'm going to get my keys, but if i dont get a reply by tomorrow morning i may just break a window and get my keys. I have no car keys, Truck keys, house key...Nothing.

Installed new brackets and AC compressor. Had to refer to mercgt73's restoration thread to figure out the bracketry config w/o a lot of head scratching and cursing. I took the stuff apart abt a year ago. Rusty's page #4, post 37, shows a clear pix of the frt of the engine w/o radiator. Made it a breeze to put back together. Long story short; take pix of everything B4 takedown - unless u have long term experience w/ this stuff. That don't include me.
I have the hoses to measure, fit and have crimped and hopefully be riding in comfort soon.
Anyway, thanks to the guy's I solicited info and they responded graciously, mostly "Jim" JS Arnold". (y)

Sent my !@#$%^&*() Holley Avenger 570 back to Holley to fix or rebuild or replace, whichever they want. Carb was a POS since I got it. Hope they can fix it.
