There's more than one definition for "Rare" Ever see those sales or auctions where the word "Rare" is used, and it's painfully obvious that it's not the "Valuable, sought-after and hard to find" kind of rare, but the "So ugly nobody wanted one so hardly any were made" rare? Of course, the seller hopes someone will think it the "valuable" rare and be able to unload their burden for big bucks I saw this "rare" VW-Z-28, or Kharmaro Ghia kit on ebay, and apologies to the creator of the kit and the seller,.... but IMHO.... EWWW! I added the pics of an actual Camaro for,....uhh, comparison, if any can be made
I like it! It's original, no one else would ever think of doing that, so if you bought it, you'd be the only one where ever you went. It's like some guys love to say "It's what hot rodding is all about"
honestly it looks like its a mix of a early 70's camaro and a 70's stingray I bet you the right person with a litle massaging could make that thing look pretty awesome
I know, right? I love kit cars, always wanted one....but always thought a lot of them were kind of.....pointless?.....contradictions? 50 hp supercars?.....or kits of cars where the real thing is cheaper to buy than the kit is to build....and the kit is slower and uglier than the real thing .....or where the donor car is better looking and more valuable than the kit body that goes on it.....like putting a Yugo kit car body on a Datsun Z chassis Personally, I love the Cobra kits. Another good one is the Corvette based Ferrari Daytona kit (Remember Sonny Crockett's Daytona on the old Miami Vice series?) and Dune Buggies (especially the classic Meyers Manx)
I once saw a kit like this that was on a mid 80's Firebird to make it look like a 1970 Camaro. That this was hideous.
His is like the first one.....thank goodness, just imagine how that second one would affect our property values....
