    Took the mav to a Performance shop to have the trans serviced... The guy is a mopar guy and builds some nice cars... As soon as I pulled in he dug through a big pile of pictures and showed me pic's of a south Florida mav, his friend bought it new in 71 and still races it today... I think it's in good hands...

    Sold the interior and doors from my 72 Comet. Took it out for the person today. Still have the trunk lid and a very nice standard hood.

    yup but part of it

    That it is but im not complaining less the 400 bucks and its back fresh and running. cant make nasty power and not expect stuff to fail:burnout:

    Got in the 76 Pinto taillights...held them up to my car and said nah. They look cool like Brazilian lights, but I'm keeping mine stock. Maybe if I get another Maverick....and trust me I'm trying!

    Have seen this type of failure on a few boosted motors (not just Chevy's, but Ford Mod motors also).............that's the
    price you pay for going fast...........
