Not really any farther west than John and Mike just south about 30 miles but Neal is from Evansville/Owensboro area. We need a Paducha and a Bowling Green member so we could have the borders covered. :)

i know that there's a mini-meet at the somernights (somerset, ky) cruise-in that's neat to attend. john ford usually has a cook-out at his home and invites anyone that wants to attend. and a couple of other members and i have been talking about doing something along the I-75 range as well.....

not to mention the columbus swap meet is coming up on thanksgiving weekend and alot of us are attending so that would be a great chance to meet some of us if you can attend :)

Cool! Your not too far away from me. Bowling Green is only around 90 miles from me and I have two uncles that live there. Bowling Green is also where I bought my maverick from.

I happened to run into this thread again and decided to post.

I lived in Ky for over 40 years before moving to Fl. I would like to spend the summers there if possible when I semi-retire next year, maybe on a lake. I had a lake house on Barren River Lake and love that area. When I was at Western, I lived on Old Morgantown Road. One of the reasons for moving to Ocala was that it reminded me of Bowling Green.

I usually go back to Louisville each summer for a car show and visit with friends. I missed this year for several reasons, but should be back next year, maybe sooner. It would be nice to attend the mini-meet at Dave's place in September. We'll see.

    Jim
