Put the battery and coil back in the convertible that I had borrowed to crank up the clunkers.

I didn't sell it. I'm back in town for a few days and decide to make some headway on it while I'm here. Unfortunately, I looked around and can't find a shop that can clean out the tank without tearing it up.

Changed the junk new edelbrock out for a new Holley carb... Had to mod the throttle bracket and make a trans kick down bracket... Drove the heck out of it yesterday and its better than ever.... I'll never go back to Edelbrock carbs....

I had a nice phone call with Scott (Scooper 77515) today to compare notes on Mustang II type front ends into Mavericks - the info & measurements I received from Scott was very helpful to me so I can progress further and maybe finish this up before I'm in a nursing home

Then I worked more on my bad rocker panels :)

Today I installed new front and rear shocks, inner and outer tie rods, new lower control arms, new strut arm bushings, sway bar bushings, inner and outer wheel bearings, new seatbelt, monte carlo bar, aftermarket shock tower braces and mounted my 69 mustang hood scoop. I need a new fender and a trip to the alignment shop and shes better than she was before the accident. if all goes well tomorrow ill be driving the mav to work Wednesday.

drove it further then the normal 200 feet to get it out of the way:rofl2:
went around a few blocks to see what else needs attention. :hmmm:
rear bounces like a caddy with a load of bricks in the back at every bump. turn signals do not cancel. and tranny doesn't want to shift but that was expected as i know the vacuum modulator leaks.
also pulled the dash chrome in prep to paint it and finished the fuse box swap to a blade style box will post pics on my new family thread.
