I have a vibration that can be felt at higher speeds, it is worse when drive line unloaded (clutch depressed or coasting with no load) and will go away with any acceleration or deceleration pressure. My Maverick has a T5 and a 9 inch all fresh u joints etc. I changed out the tail shaft bushing in trans did not help . I was thinking maybe change out front yoke it seemed a little sloppier in bushing than I would have liked but very minimal and no worse than any others with no vibration. Any thoughts on why it goes away when loaded .

most likely you have different operating angles on the u-joints. when you apply power the rear end will rotate up. when this happens the angles come back into phase with that movement.
chances are your t5 conversion has your engine/transmission angle off a little. you can put washers or shims between the trans mount and crossmember to adjust the angle some. or you can get wedges of different degrees that you can put between the diff and springs to change the angles.

Exactly what Bryant said.Have a T-5 and 9'' in mine and some 2 degree shims under the spring perches cured the vibration.

Finally did some proper measuring on Maverick the trans sits 3 degrees down hill to rear the pinion points down 4 degrees and the drive shaft runs down at 2 degrees so would 4 degree shims be appropriate?
