That's why I asked, 'cause I've pulled it off quite a few times and it seems to me that it weights much more than 38lbs. Even popping the hood weights more than that! :rofl2:

You must not be doing your proper exercise regime. You need to increase from a 6-pack to a half-rack a day if you want to get stronger. Although personally I upgraded from bottles to Growlers. My hood feels like it weighs maybe 1 or 2 lbs, I just throw it open and rest it on my forehead.

I also really love Falken tires. I can't wait to get some on my car. I put them on my wifes Accord last year and it was like a whole new car, handles so much better and I don't have to worry as much that she'll wreck her car in the rain in the hills.

    Thanks

Here are some painted photos from yesterday. The clouds were not cooperating so this is the best I could get.

Holes are now drilled to fit the scoop on it. I just need to clean up the underside where the bolts will go and it'll be done. Talk about a hair raising experience.

Good call on the hood. I like the paint scheme. Too much carbon reminds me of ricers. Very tasteful!!! Nice to see some of that nice fiber shining.

How much work did it take to get the front molding on there? On my Grabber CF hood it will take some work to get it on there, but I think it will work in the end. They need the molding to look finished in my opinion.

    Looks awesome!!!

One can use the self adhesive chrome body side molding. I have used it and it looks just like a hood molding.

I agree with the finished look.

In all honesty, I did not put it on myself. I let the painter do it. But in looking at it ahead of time, it did not appear to be a big deal which it must not have been considering the painter refused to drill and mount my hood scoop on it.
