I've learned a lot about my suspension over the last couple years and am now thinking about taking it out and rebuilding it. In doing so, I may produce more than one. If you it were available, how many of you would be interested in purchasing a Maverick specific rear suspension. Price would be comparable to similar Torque-Arm kits on the market already, less the cost of the coilovers. (1500.00 ish) It would include a rear sway bar, subframe connectors, torque arm, rear end brackets, coilover crossmember, and panhard bar. The only weld on parts will be the rear end brackets. Everything else is bolt-on.

Me as well.. I'm debating building something like this right now...trying to figure out my own details, but it might be easier to just buy it.. Also Would your brackets fit different rear end housings? As mines a 9" with thick 3.25" tubes.

Most rear end brackets that I have bought wind up having a slightly smaller radius, than my 9 inch tubes, so it really only becomes a point of grinding some more out of the bracket radius to fit the rear anyway :)

I need something to match my TCP front coilovers. I'd be interested.

I was told by a couple of manufacturers that coil overs would not fit on the rear of a Maverick/Comet without cutting into the trunk floor but all I did was to use brackets that mounted my coil overs down low on my 9 inch so the upper cross member could be installed just under the trunk floor - that thought might have to play in here if manufacturers continue insisting they will not work:)

Thats just silly. I can believe someone would tell you that. On my upper coilover mount, I did cut into the existing shock mounting box structure to fit the brackets properly. But I did not have to cut into the trunk. At ride height, My coilover is 14" long and I want to believe, I have a lower ride height than most. You could easily go with a shorter travel coilover if you wanted.

The reason I said it would not come with coilovers, is I would not be getting a discount on them to resale to you. I would include specs for a proper fitting coilover and recomended spring pressure.

Of course I was also told by Full Tilt Street Rods and Canton that I could not install a Cleveland in my Maverick using a Mustang II suspension and a Canton pan :rofl2::rofl2::rofl2::rofl2::rofl2:

It depends if it is completely bolt on. Can't cut into the fresh paint on the underside of the car. I also don't know if yohr setup can work around existing subframe connentors.
