looks a little darker in person, but its really bright outside so im not sure if that maybe affected the photograph or not
so anyways, im pretty excited for this because the paint job is going to be a really dark blue.. so Im thinking the tint will compliment the paint nicely--Oh..I'm going to some shops for estimates today. YEA!

Looks good! With a darker blue like you are talking about it will really go well with the dark tint. My Mav is British Racing Green (looks black a lot of the time), and I have 5% tint on the back three and 35% on the fronts. Shhhhh, don't tell anyone about my front windows being tinted... :) Luckily the cops don't notice because they look less dark in contrast to the paint...

It looks great. I do have one question though. Are'nt there regulations regarding how dark the tint can be on the drivers and passengers side windows? There used to be a time when the cops here in Pa could pull you over and make you remove the tint if it was too dark to see the driver. That only applied to tint that was not installed by the factory. I don't know if that regulation is still in effect or not. Just wondering.

It is here is CA. Technically you are not supposed to tint the front windows at all... Lots of people, including me, do however. You can still see me through the window, but there is a definite tint to it.

It is a state by state thing.

Craig is correct, as an interesting side note, GA's tint law was challenged and overturned this year, because it was posed that drivers from other states who came through GA couldn't be cited if their windows had the darker tinting, so the court threw out the law all together!

Someone I know, just got cited for it here. No big deal, just had to pay the ticket.
Several years ago, someone got ticketed for the same thing, and they were ordered to take the tinting off. It seems a lot of cops just look the other way mostly.

PCGUY: You are not allowed to have ANY tint ahead of the b-pillars, technically. You can have whatever you want behind them. (I get away with 35% on my cavalier front windows)
