Hi guys, I dug this one out a couple of weeks ago...been sitting since 2004.. Thought I'd share with you. It's an old JoHan kit, Tinker's Toy, and I got some Dyno Don decals off ebay. (not long after I got the kit...) I'd originally planned on just adding a modified Mustang chassis, which I had mostly completed. It has heaps better detail than the basic kit supplied chassis and was an obvious choice... More recently, I got to thinking, "what would it look like dumped in da weeds..?"..So, I set about modifying the Mustang chassis once more...I cut the rear end off, just prior to the rear wheel openings and grafted in, a rear section from an old Amt 57 Chev...(ooops..) It fitted with some massaging, and they all look alike in any case... With the addition of a strut type front end, it sure got it "downindaweeds" The scoop is just resting there, checking how it may look........ I have now almost completed a "base" for the scoop, which will extend back to the windscreen... Motovation is a kindof hybrid....started out as a 427-8-9 (?) rather than the shotgun 429 or the SOHC 428...I wanted it to look a little like a Clevo, and finding a good one of those is next to impossible.....so this'll have to do.....tunnel ram is from the kit.. I'll try and keep things updated, though with sooooo many projects "on the go"....I loose track of time easily...... I'm a bit of a car nut, but I leave my dreams in scale these days...I find it's a little bit cheaper too....though, at times I wonder.....
