Ok i have a 15/7 rim with a 31/2 in offset . I have 275/60/15 mounted and have about 2in front and2in at the rear clearance.(between tire and fender lip). I have 3/8 in between the sidewall and the leaf spring. I can slide my big hands up the sidewll of the tire and ,not touch the fender lip at the top of the tireHope this helps as many people have found that different combinations work depending on the kind of spring you have and does the car have air bags in the rear..Chk with other members as to their combination..

My fronts are 15X7 Cragars, but I think the backspacing might be 4-1/2 (not sure).

I have 225/60 on there, and it is pretty close to the front of the fender lip when I turn the tire, maybe 1/4" or so, at the front tip. the top of my tire is up inside the fender well, or just even with the top of the fender, as I have dropped the front down a bit. This may be why it is so close.

On the rear I have 15X8 with 245/60, getting ready to go 255/60.
