17x8 steel wheels that accept poverty caps

    75 maverick, 89 Cougar (sleeper), 04 Superduty and a 87 Cougar
    I'm looking for a shop that can make 17x8 wheels that will still accept the stock ford poverty cap. Does anybody know where I can get wheels like this? I would like to run 245/45/17 on my maverick but want people to question if it came that way.

    Shoot....with 17" wheels.....a regular full wheel cover could be used as a poverty cap!!

    There's a guy right here in NJ who builds and modifys wheels. I can't think of the name of his business right now but his shop is on Rt. 206 in the Bordentown / Roebling or Florence area. "Wheel works" possibly? His last name is Smith. PM me and I will try to get contact info for you. He will probably have a spot at the Englishtown swap meet in a coupls of weeks. Are you going to the swap meet?
