    I have a 289 Marine engine are they different?

    Im not sure if there would be a difference... except maybe the cooling passages.. But i have no idea and couldnt find much info

    I work for a company called Carr Clinic & Marine. Boat blocks and heads are exactly the same. Unbolt all boat stuff, bolt on car stuff, stuff it in engine compartment.

    There are some reverse rotation marine engines out there. They would be for twin screw applications.

    yeah but blocks, cranks and heads are the same. only diff is camshaft. You can swap that out and spin it the right way.
