Okay, so it's been about 6 months (maybe more) since I posted anything on this forum, but I was wondering about the mini-meet at Silver Springs. I have a '74 Mav that is definitely a work in progress (different color door than body, crummy interior, etc.), and I have no idea if I can enter it into this meet. I've been to a few of the little shows around Ocala (like in front of Kash-N-Karry and Steak and Shake), but I know the one at SS is a little different. Anybody know if it's possible??

Absolutely. There are no rules. Anything and everything is welcome. They even give out a survivors award to the car that has survived best in its original, unrestored, condition. Its a good place to get ideas and information useful in restoring yours.

The same could be said about the Round-Up Nationals. Condition of your car means nothing, and it is a great place to get ideas and information. Just bring it!!

OK Mavaholic, I have changed my mind, I'm gonna register for the Silver Springs NPD. How many cars usually show? Are you staying Sat. & Sun?

Last year I believe there was at least 14 Mavericks and Comets. I will be there Saturday and most of Sunday.

Only a month till the show! I'm looking forward to this, who all has already registered for the show? I'm bringing the Comet again, if the Mav was running we'd probably bring it too.

I'm registered but have'nt received the tickets yet. Hope the weather stays nice. Got a question for yall. When you arrive at the show, do they park you in the order you come in, or do they section off by model?

They keep the models together but better get there early. They dont give enough space and eventually some get separated.
