My Mav has a 68 302 in it, and it has the 3 bolt harmonic damper on it. Could you put a 4 bolt on it? I would like to put the March serpentine pulleys on. Can this be done? And then run an electric fan set up.

If the March belt system is the same as the late 5.0 Mustang, your water pump will turn backward due to the way the belt drives it. You may have to change to the late water pump. You can still use the electric fan with the stock set up. If you are thinking of underdrive pullies, there is a possibility of slowing the waterpump speed and cooling making it more difficult to cool the engine, alternator will turn slower and there could be charging problems. Depends on how the car is used. Just some insight for you to consider.

Check the Crown Vic water pump. I think it turns in the right direction, so you won't have to get the reverse fan,

I have thought about it and I think I will go with the standard billit(sp) pulleys. I have the Flex-a-Lite Black Magic fan on order, and will put that on soon. Then I will get the pulleys.

You can put the 4-hole damper on it, as long as it comes from a 351W or a pre 1982 302.
