Can a 351 W camshaft work on a 302. If so dose that mean a 351 W crankshaft work on a 302 for a stroker. I know that I will need different connecting rod but that will come later.

The cam out of a 351W will work in a 302, you will need to change the firing order to the 351W firing order. The crank out of a 351W will not work in a 302, different journal size.....

    That is....

....the standard 302 has a different firing order.
If you are transplanting a late model H.O. 302 (5.0)
into your car the firing order is the same as the
    351W.
If it is your original 302, Stephen is right, there is
    a diffenece in firing order.

Thanks guys! I just found out that the journal size i different and there is not enough meat to line bore in a 302 for a 351 crank. O well it was a thought. Can't blame me for trying.
