4.6L water pump...quick question.

    Are you supposed to use RVT to seal it up or not?

    I've always used a thin film but looking at it I don't think there should even be any.

    It's a machined surface and there's an O ring.

    O-rings and silicone gaskets. Require no sealer unless the mating surface is damaged

    Thanks Russ! The surfaces looked great and it went on it no leaks!

    It took forever to take off though lol
    My last 4 Mod engine water pump swaps took like 15 minutes each. This one took an hour and a half!
