5.0 water pump leak

    you know in the snout of the watter pump on the bottom theres that little hole? well what does it mean when you pour water in the rad and it starts leaking out there?

    this is on my 89 grand marquis btw...

    The seal is gone, and you need a new pump.

    yup, that's the 'weap hole'. when the pump/seal goes bad, that's your indication to change the pump :)

    i just sold someone on here a reverse high flow water pump over the summer too since i couldnt use it on the maverick
