i have the chance to buy a set of 67/68 mustang spindles with disc brakes on them for a good price I'm just am not 100% sure these will work and so I'm asking you guys. Thanks.
1967 Ford Mustang spindles are the same drum to disc. They used Kelsey Hayes 4 piston calipers. They were used on drum brake Mustang/Cougar and mid size B/C body cars like Fairlane 1966 - 1969. They are fairly common, casting numbers start with C6OE-... 1968-69 Ford Mustang disc brake spindles are specific to the common single piston calipers as found on Fords way into the 1970's. They will work the same as Granada, but you will need to change your outer tie rod ends. Casting numbers start with C8OE-...
I bought a set of those that were on a 71 Comet. They work, but I believe you will need the earlier tie rod ends for them since they are the smaller 67-68 Mustang size. - Matt
Yep I have them on my Comet, used tie rods for a '69 Torino... These are exact same brakes that are on my Cobra Jet...
