Tail lights and doors are worth more than $125. Lots...LOTS of money potential there. Sucks it was murdered. Those rims are killer too. Sweet score.
those pics dont even hint at all the rot that car hides. espically in the rear. it was dead long before it got hit
i was looking for the bolts under the floor to get the front seats out and couldnt find anything. do i need to unbolt them from the inside? now that i look at the flloor pan pic i think there under those rubber plugs i also want to pull the whole dash out if anyone has any tips or tricks would it be worth it to cut the roof off too? would there be alot of cougar owners out there with rotted roofs like soft top maverick owners?
Car decodes as a '68 Cougar built at the Dearborn, Michigan plant with a 302. The car was built May 13, 1968, was "Saxony Yellow", and had saddle color "crinkle" vinyl interior. It has a C4 trans and open 3.00 rear. The DSO is St. Louis, MO. I'd find a Cougar forum and see what people want.
As rare as Cougars are, I'd think somebody would pay good bucks to restore that puppy [or is that kitty? lol] I'd also bet that a lot of the under car sheetmetal would be the same as a simular model Mustang. Looks like it needs floorpans and some work on the torque boxes......
theres not much left of the trunk an or rear 1/4 either. and the front frame rails from the controll arm foward are gone. it really is alot worse then it looks
